The English translation is: "The sea, being obstinate, did not heed my pleas. Three days have passed. Then, with anger, Ram said, 'Without fear, there is no affection.'”

In the context of the Ramayana: This verse describes a scene where Lord Rama, after pleading with the ocean (which is personified as a being) for three days to allow him to cross it to reach Lanka, becomes angry and says that fear is necessary for respect and obedience, as the sea was not moved by his pleas.

I’ve pleaded to my family to do what they can to help me meet my urgent and important need but they’ve ignored me. Today, May 9th 2025 it’s been 130 days since my first ask of them on Dec 30th 2024. Since then I’ve met them and asked them for help but they’ve ignored me. At best some wished me good luck and at worst my own father and mother actively tried to dissuade and discourage me. Some asked what’s in it for them, others said “show me the money” and some simply dismissed me with a prompt and clear No. Most ignored me. When I expressed my disappointment to my father, who is a highly respected retired army general and is the family patriarch, he was quick to defend the whole family and held their line by simply shrugging me off by saying “that’s just too bad”. He claims it’s an impossible task and made some serious efforts to encourage me to give up while I’m barely taking my first baby steps. Please don’t judge them. I’m confident they will join me when the time is right for them.

Can I be stopped on my mission I set out for? Will I be stopped? Should I be stopped? Is my father right that it’s an impossible task? Should I give up? Should I be encouraged or discouraged? I will use all means and tactics at any scale necessary to achieve my mission as long as they comply with the Zero Strings Principles. Extraordinary missions need extraordinary measures and methods.
